Meet WASH Whisperer

Swezin Karugabe Kabinga is a Water Resources Engineer and climate change activist serving as a WASH Community-Based Facilitator with Action Against Hunger-US (ACF) in Uganda. Passionate about ensuring clean water and sanitation as fundamental human rights, Swezin has supervised the drilling of boreholes in 20 camps, benefiting over 10,000 refugees and community members.

With a focus on sustainability and community collaboration, Swezin designs tailored WASH systems that meet refugee needs while minimizing environmental impact. His work combines technical expertise with a commitment to fostering dignity, health, and resilience in vulnerable communities, addressing immediate needs and driving lasting change.
